“I spent nearly 35 years driving a truck. I covered two million, five hundred seventy-four thousand, three hundred twenty-one kilometers. How did I end up right here?” The film is trying to answer our hero’s poetic question by portraying Budapest’s presumably oldest, now 91-year-old common condominium representative. Through stories from his childhood and youth, an extraordinary life unfolds before us of a man who having travelled the globe, decided to take care of a ten-flat condo for the rest of his life and a bit beyond that. How is an eternal vagabond’s life compatible with such a level of permanence, monotony? How is it possible to deal with such contradiction within a human soul? Our film aims to find the answers.
